What is SOS? |
| If you have a Tablet PC or a setup that involves little to no keyboard input, SOS is for you! SOS is a small but powerful app that will allow you to create a custom window full of buttons. These buttons can do just about anything because they simply simulate keyboard button presses like Hotkeys. |

How is this different from an On Screen Keyboard? |
| SOS is far more than an On Screen Keyboard, SOS understands Hotkeys, allows for multiply key strokes and is customizable. |

What's In The New Version? |
- Custom buttons to switch you directly to other profiles.
- Previously users would have to edit a text file to change the buttons in SOS, but now you can Add, Edit, or Remove Buttons and Profiles by simply right-clicking. However the layout file has not been lost, so those who wish to continue to use it can do so. The next section explains how the layout file works.

Just How Simple Is This sos_layout.txt File? |
Remember, the latest version of SOS will let you Add, Edit, or Remove Buttons and Profiles by simply right-clicking. So editing the sos_layout.txt file can be left to the people who actually like editing text files (like Danny Burbol for example).
Here's an example:
ADD_PROFILE:It's Easy!
ADD_BUTTON:2|Me|@Email|Danny.Burbol@gmail.com
ADD_ROW:
ADD_BUTTON:1|UnDo|<-|[ctrl_]z[ctrl-]
ADD_BUTTON:1|ReDo|->|[ctrl_]y[ctrl-] |
Here's what you get:
 | The top button will hit the keys that spell out "Danny.Burbol@gmail.com" while the two bottom buttons will hold down the Control key, then hit the z or y keys, finally the Control Key is released. |
